POL-05 - Polish Levy of the Nobility / Volunteer Banner

In times of need, a Levy could be summoned from all districts of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was composed of mostly nobles, who fought alongside volunteers using arms and equipment they themselves could afford. The Volunteers were irregular units that supported the regular army in some campaigns. Such formations usually lacked discipline and the will to fight but on some occasions, they could be dangerous to regular troops.
